Baldor Washdown, Three Phase, Totally Enclosed, C-Face, Foot Mounted Brake Motor Applications:

Used in food processing and other applications where motors receive washdown on a regular basis.

These motors feature Class F insulation with 1.15 service factor or higher that operates within class "B" temperature limits at rated horsepower. Standard NEMA BA dimension, 300 series stainless steel hardware, moisture sealant on bolt heads, between frame and end plates, neoprene gaskets, spring-set brake internally connected to the motor, power off manual release and automatic reset. Motors have NEMA Premium Efficiency and are inverter-ready. 230/460V brakes are connected in conduit box allowing for separate connection when used with an inverter. Baldor's line of brake motors are available in totally enclosed fan cooled, open drip proof, or explosion proof designs, in either single or three phase. Stock ratings are available from 1/4 HP through 30 HP. These motors use a mechanical spring set brake with a manual release. Brake motors may be used on machine tools, conveyors, door operators, speed reducers, hoists, or any application requiring quick stops and positive holds.
