LT3
Long Range Laser Time-of-Flight Sensor

The LT3 utilizes a timed pulse technology to achieve long distance measurement. About 1 million pulses per second to be exact, which places the LT3 in the category of a highly accurate gauging sensor.  The sensor's laser beam is very precise and able to detect very small parts at a substantial distance.

The LT3 can be mounted well outside of any hazardous condition.  The LT3 is not affected by environmental conditions such as wind, temperature, or pressure change. It can also be mounted to detect targets that are NOT perpendicular to the sensor.  Both of these features make it a superb replacement for troubled ultrasonic sensor applications.

The laser beam offers a bright visible spot for accurate alignment.  As usual, Banner also offers its Teach-Mode setup featuring push button programming.  The NEMA 6\IP67  housing is also rugged enough for most harsh environments.

Other features include analog and discrete outputs, remote teach capability, 12-24Vdc operation, and quick-disconnect models.
