Microprocessor-based sensing for an extraordinarily low
cost. The PresencePLUS inspection system is a camera
that captures 256-level grey-scale images within a
defined area. After converting those images to black and
white pixels, a judgment is made for PASS or FAIL
conditions. The hand-held programmer allows for easy
configuration. Its LCD screen displays programming
options, monitoring options, captured images, and
diagnostics. Up to four sets of programs can be stored.
Teach mode programming offers a quick start right out of
the box. Three SPST solid state output contacts can be
setup for NPN or PNP. A complete system consists of the
camera, the PRC1 remote programmer, lensing, lighting,
cables, and mounting brackets. Banner offers a wide
variety of lighting and lensing to suit any
application. A complete package of the standard
PresencePLUS can be purchased for under $1700.00
The
PresencePLUS2 offers the same inspection operations, but
incorporates the ease of a Windows PC setup. Neither a
PC nor a hand-held controller is required for sensor
operation. The PresencePLUS2 Pixel Counting Sensor
displays full resolution images of 512 x 384 pixels. An
intuitive three-window graphic interface makes this unit
easy to set up and maintain. You can use the
PresencePLUS2 software to easily view and adjust focus
and lighting to maximize contrast. You can then name and
store many sensor configurations. The PresencePLUS2
sensor can quickly retrieve saved configurations for
fast line changes. PresencePLUS2 connects to any
Windows®95, 98, or NT PC via a standard DB9 serial
connector. Interface software is also available on a
free CD. |
