Optical Safety Devices
ABB's optical safety devices are production friendly light curtains and light beams that do not physically impact on the actions of the machine operator. These devices could also be used when goods are to be passed in and out of a risk area.
Focus light curtains are used for finger and hand detection and Focus light grids are used for body detection.
