Full-size Photoelectric Sensors Midsize Photoelectric Sensors
Full-size photoelectric sensors have the longest sensing range with distances up to 200 m and operate with ac, dc, or ac/dc voltage. Sensors are available in opposed, polarized and non-polarized retroreflective, diffuse, convergent, and glass and plastic fiber optic modes.
Midsize photoelectric sensors, available in a barrel or rectangular shape, work well for position sensing applications and process automation with a much larger sensing range and optimal detection.
Compact Photoelectric Sensors Miniature Photoelectric Sensors
Compact photoelectric sensors are space-saving rectangular or barrel shaped sensors with powerful sensing beams for longer ranges and scanning distances. Several sensing modes are available with an opposed mode sensing range up to 30 m, depending on the model.
Miniature photoelectric sensors are extremely compact, conveniently fitting into limited spaces with barrel, rectangular and T-shaped housings. Sensors have high-power performance for close range detection. Six sensing modes are available with an opposed mode sensing range up to 4 m.
Ultrasonic Sensors Fiber Optic Sensors
Ultrasonic sensors use sound waves rather than light, making them ideal for stable detection of uneven surfaces, liquids, clear objects, and objects in dirty environments. These sensors work well for applications that require precise measurements between stationary and moving objects.
Fiber optic sensors are ideal for harsh conditions including high vibration, extreme heat, noisy, wet, corrosive or explosive environments. Fiber optic sensors are small enough to fit in confined areas and can be positioned precisely where needed with flexible fibers.
Laser Sensors Clear Object Detection Sensors
Laser diode sensors combine the alignment advantages of a visible sensing beam with the increased sensing range of a laser . They operate on dc or ac/dc (universal voltage). Class 1 and Class 2 devices are available.
Clear object detection sensors reliably and quickly detect clear, transparent and mirror-like surfaces with various laser or ultrasonic sensor models for high precision detection. Sensors have fast response times for high-speed applications and reliable clear object detection.
Measuring Array Sensors Slot Sensors
Using an array of closely spaced light beams, measuring light screens are designed for profiling, inspections and process monitoring.
Slot sensors, sometimes called optical fork sensors because of their "forked" shape, detect objects that pass between the two arms-one with the emitter, the other with the receiver. The fixed slot width provides reliable opposed-mode sensing of objects as small as 0.30 mm.
Part-Sensing Sensors Remote Sensors and Amplifiers
Part-sensing or detection sensors detect objects that pass through a unique beam pattern array for the highest sensing accuracy. Part-sensing sensors have extraordinary sensitivity to small objects for precise detection in challenging applications.
Remote amplifier photoelectrics use two components: the amplifier, which can be programmed and does the processing; and the remote sensor head, which is small enough to fit into small places and can be installed away from the amplifier.
Optical Touch Button Temperature Sensors
Ergonomic optical switches require no physical pressure to operate, eliminating the hand stress that can lead to repetitive-motion injuries.
Temperature sensors detect small differences between the temperature of an object and the surrounding ambient temperature.
True Color Sensors Vehicle Detection
