The YAA incremental encoder fits on the rear shafts of HT34 step motors with 3/8” diameter rear shafts. This includes the following motors:

  • HT34-504D/505D/506D
  • HT34-485D/486D/487D
  • HT34-488D/489D/490D
  • HT34-495D/496D/497D

To order the encoder factory-assembled onto the rear shaft of one of the motors in the list above, add the YAA suffix to the end of the double-shaft step motor part number. For example, order HT34-504D-YAA to purchase the HT34-504D step motor and YAA encoder as a single, factory-assembled part number.

To connect the YAA encoder to your stepper drive or motion controller you’ll need the 3004-195-10 encoder extension cable.

YAA encoders can also be ordered separately. Use part number 970-1005 to order the encoder separately.
