LUTZE DRIVEFLEX 3 A219 Cables are specifically designed for use with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and offer low capacitance insulation and UL listing as “Flexible VFD and Servo Cable” as well as “TC-ER”. The UL listing “Flexible VFD and Servo Cable” was revised by UL in July of 2011 and reflects the requirements of drive installations and the power distortions associated with AC drives.

AC drive manufacturers such as ABB and Rockwell recommend the use of 3 symmetrical ground (aka split grounds) cable in particular for larger motors. LUTZE DRIVEFLEX 3 symmetrical ground cable offers the following advantages over traditional cable:
  • Low capacitance allowing longer cable runs
  • Insulation rated 2000V
  • Flexible for easy installation and routing
  • Foil and braid shielded for excellent EMC compliance
  • UL listed for use on frequency controlled drives
  • Thermo-set insulation does not melt under high temperatures
