The RPS-400-6 is a compact, high frequency sensor. It was introduced to the Migatron family of ultrasonic sensors to better meet the needs of the machine manufacturing industry. The RPS-400-6 can be used as a proximity sensor, or a level sensor. This sensor has a wide array of application solutions not found in other proximity sensor technologies. The RPS-400-6 has an adjustable two to six inch sensing range with background suppression (meaning any object within the desired range is detected, while objects out of the desired range are ignored).

The RPS-400-30 has a 22mm barrel housing, completely self -contained, 12-30VDC powered ultrasonic proximity sensor. A sealed transducer provides protection in environments where dirt and moisture are a problem. The sensor is constructed of Delrin plastic with a silicone rubber sensing face. This sensor is range or distance sensitive, enabling the sensor to detect objects within the desired range, and reject objects outside the desired range.
