Banner Engineering QS18U Ultrasonic Sensors
WORLD-BEAM® Banner Engineering QS18U Series is the latest addition to Banner's extensive offering of ultrasonic sensing products. The QS18U is the first to feature their convenient WORLD-BEAM standard housing for the greatest mounting and application flexibility. Also, the WORLD-BEAM QS18U is the most competitively priced ultrasonic sensor for its size and capabilities. The easy-to-use TEACH-mode setup allows minimum and maximum limits for object sensing and auto-window limits for retrosonic sensing.
The QS18U models features include:
12 to 30V dc supply voltage with NPN or PNP output
two bi-colored status LEDs
convenient mounting via its 18 mm threaded nose or it's side-mounting holes
wide operating range of -20º to +60ºC (-13º to +140ºF)
fast response time (15 milliseconds)
sensing range 50mm (2") to 500mm(20")
temperature compensated
available in a rugged encapsulated version for harsh environments
available with pre-wired 2m (6.5') or 4-pin integral Euro-style QD or 4-pin integral Pico-style QD
A pre-wired 9m (30') cable version is available.
Also, a 150mm (6") pigtail version with either a 4-pin Euro-style or Pico-style connector is available for an additional cost.
